To cull or not to cull?

Back story on this deer. I shot this deer and hit him in the ham. Long story short I blood trailed him a long way and did not find him. He is back this season and only has one side.

Keep in mind he is either 5 or 6 this season and last year would have scored around 130 as a 8.

I never new you were an Arse man. I say let him walk and give him another year. Sounds like that arrow to the butt may have effected his growth.

Give him another year and see if he recovers

I'd say give him a pass and see what he looks like next year.

Man he looks thin, he might not make it through the winter if he doesn't put some lb's on.

He has been on camera at a protein feeder close by.

In my experience the first year after a hit is the hardest especially if he had major infection. Once his body fully recovers I bet he will be back to semi normal next year.
