Yesterday, I challenged myself to do the Tough Mudder 5K in College Station. I have never done anything like this, so it was definitely a challenge. Me (53), Wife (50), and daughter (25) took it on. My daughter has done several of these and has ran a few marathons, so this was a walk in the park for her. With all the recent rains, the course was very muddy to the point it became very hard to even walk thru it much less jog & run. The 13 obstacles were fun but some were very challenging for someone that doesn't workout at all, but I made all of them except one and you had to walk across a angles platform and I jut couldn't keep my feeting without slide off because of all the mud. Anyway, I'm a little sore today, but I do feel proud. I told everyone, that walking 3 miles through the woods in the heavy mud was just another day at the deer lease
