Guys in my camp were reporting crazy rut activity Friday and Saturday but it’s been slow last few days. I’m headed down tonight. I bet the rest of this week will be good.

I don't think it will. Looks like sunny and a high of 52 on Friday at Pumpville, which is closest to me. The low Friday morning will be about 32. The bucks will be up and running for sure.

Good thing I've already killed my mature buck and can only kill culls. I knew this week would be better. I've been tracking my big buck kills for about 20 years now and they've all been killed in the Dec. 6-13 time frame. I don't know why I HAD to go the lease last weekend.

Got my euros back. Local guy in tomball did a great job for next to nothing. I highly recommend Natural Impressions for euros if you're in the area.

The rutting activity was crazy last week ! I was in awe at the amount of chasing and tending going on at our place.
Wednesday through Saturday it was chilly, snowy, icy.
