    Arrows

Had some carbon white tail arrows that I used with my compound bow. Would refletching these with feathers work? Any recommendations on trad arrows and what is the best material for trad arrows?

It will depend on the spine and length of the shaft. You can add tip weight to weaken a stiff spine.

What is the spine of the arrows that you have now? How long are they ? What is your trad draw length? All this will come into play as this is how you tune a trad bow.

Example: for a 45# recurve I shoot a 29 and 1/2 inch arrow ( tip to point) and have a .400 spine and about 250 grains at the tip. I end up with about a 540 grain arrow that flys well for me. I also have some .500 spine sticks of the same length with only 160 grains up front and those fly well for me too.
