saturday morning i hit the stand early about 5.50 and got settled in. (i was hunting my aunts in menard.) deer havnt been on the feeders much, just eating acorns on the woodlines. i sat all morning seeing nothing but one doe and a nubbing buck, though i could hear several bucks chasing does behind me. well come 8 o clock i was ready to pack in so i scanned around one more time and saw this guy walking in, he came in within 25 yds and gave me a perfect quater away. my muzzy broadhead hit both lungs he gave a kick and took off. i hand to get out on a limb to see him run out about 50 yds and look back like "what the ..." stumble a little and fall. i gave him about 15 minutes but i knew he was done. his right g-2 and left eyegaurd are broke, guess he was a fighter. hes not huge but im real happy considering hes my first buck and like all my deer i got him with my mathews bow i got from jamesl on this very forum. thanks alot for all your great advice. im gonna try to do a european mount if anyone has any pointers on that ide appriciate it. i dont know how to re-size the pics if ayone can help
