When you rent the Dodge in Los Angeles and drive from LA to San Antonio to drop it off. That was one of my few "off road" rests taken during the trip. That scene is exactly 45 miles South East of El Paso. The distant mountains are the last bastion of Texas range before you hit the Rio.

It has a special meaning to me.....excellent memories....with further memories of the South West, beyond the borders of West Texas.
