Red.

The seeing, smelling, and hearing is something I try to eliminate already as a hunter. I enjoy implementing the skills needed to outwit the deer senses. I hate the gut wrenching feeling of not recovering a deer that I know I hit and I know it will die.

Definitely Black. I bet we'd all be sick with how many Deer in our lifetime never came into view because they were smart enough to approach the stand from downwind. I can sit still and not be seen/heard. I can't keep from breathing or sweating.

going to go with most and say black. I've seen a doe walking down a trail and saw her eyes go wide as she lifted her snout just inhaling like a coke head on a Saturday night. she caught my sent and just backed up till outta sight. worst feeling ive had while hunting bc there was nothing I could do about it

So you hit it in the ankle at 1000 yards and it runs off only to be eaten alive by coyotes? But at least you hit it

It’s funny because everyone has a “downside.” I originally thought red but that would take away a lot of the excitement in shooting and recovering.
I guess I would say black

Black makes a lot of sense but as mentioned above by other hunters is the challenge of out smarting your deer. Red would be my selection as to recover your animal with a high percentage.
