Does anybody sell flies on here or do fly swaps? Ive gotten really good at tieing, spinning hair, making whatever tried a lot out on Buchanan this wknd and busted some whites and striper. I might start selling some or it would be cool to start a fly swap.

Heading back to my old stomping grounds in July, plan on fishing the North Platte and Big Horn. Hopefully will catch the golden stonefly hatch!

Beautiful rod, you are getting really good at that kind of craft. Seeing that rod makes me want to get a 3 wt. Where will you fish with it besides the White?

I tie a bunch of different patterns, but I'm not sure they are sellable. I'm not even sure fish like them. But if you can tie a decent hook up crawfish pattern, I would trade you some closer minnows or baby fat minnows for them. If you pm me your number I can text you pics of them.

I do every now and then. I had stopped to build a bamboo rod then life got in the way and I have to pulled the kit out in a few months.

Only one brown hooked all day right at the end. I set the hook, he shot up stream, jumped and threw the hook. 22-23 inch fish. Win some and lose some.

We spent last week in Lake City. Water was really high in most places. They had been really concerned that the town might flood. Luckily it never came to that. We were able to find a stream or two that were fishable and catch a few.

My 4 year old caught his first solo fish. From cast to landing. Great memories!

Going tomorrow God willing.

Went two weeks ago and water was nice. Have had a few small showers, so it should be good tomorrow.

No need for waders this time of year. And I'd just use the 3wt.

Perfect because I just realized my fly fishing gear bag is in the back of our storage unit and I canít get to it! Was able to grab a couple rods and reels and my net but everything else is buried right now.

Gonna have to stop by Living Waters and grab some flies and leaders. Hiking boots are gonna have to work!

Post up a report when you get back today. Weather is great in dfw, got out this morning with my dad and nephew to a couple ponds in Keller. 1 really nice bass (biggest Iíve ever seen in that pond) but he got off at the bank. But Iíll take fishing in the high 70s in July any day

Just returned from southern Colorado. Most of the streams and rivers are still running pretty high from late snowmelt but we managed to find a few places to catch trout on the fly rod. If you are thinking about going there, I'd give it another 2-3 weeks for things to calm down a little. Anything that fishes well now will have greater fishing pressure.

Didn't get to wet a line. Wife over did it at Camp Gladiator and got a little heat exhaustion. I did drive by the creek, once I took care of her, and its in good shape.

When you hit Living Waters, get the map Chris put together.

I like parking here - 30.519882, -97.737914

Typically do best going down stream and letting the fly go with the current.

I am seriously considering thinning the herd back and can use the TBH brain trust. I am going to stick to saltwater so all the rods less than a seven weight will go. The one I am most proud of I have no idea what to ask, itís a late 50ís or early 60ís Orvis 4/5 bamboo that I replaced everything on less the bamboo and I refinished that. You could barely make out the old Orvis waterslide and looking back I wish I would have left it on.

You may just want to keep that one just in case you get a CO trip. Unless you just want to buy an entire new outfit if that chance happens.

Hit brushy today but only had a little over an hour and being 4pm it was hot and not ideal. Beautiful stretch of stream, tons of small bass and saw a couple Rios which was cool. Only hit I got was too small to actually eat my fly!

Also was able to stop in to Living Waters, great shop and awesome crew in there. Only bad thing about it is I figured out I need the new Simms wading boots
