Default Whataburger Sold

If I was the one who just bought Whataburger, Iíd pay a lot of attention to the loyalty of the current clientele, and try to improve on service and efficiency. The model for that right now in their market is Chic Filet. Imagine a Whataburger run like that with as close an eye on product quality..

I'll take a #3 with cheese and jalapenos, extra large order of onion rings and a small diet Coke please!

JJ Watt is trying to rally Texans and buy back Whataburger. LMAO

Imagine how expensive it's gonna be to eat there after it's been bought and sold twice.

Now those taquitos.......no. the BOB with bacon is greatness. In Texas we have way better breakfast tacos. Everything else at W is good. If a double with cheese and grilled onions and jalapenos is tasteless there is something wrong with you.

Go to the Lamarque and Texas City Whataburgers. Then, tell me how great, clean, and awesome they are. That is if you can get waited on and not get shot before your food arrives.

First off....order without pickles and add American cheese. Facts are facts and if you ask 100 people, 98 of them are going to tell you the same thing. CFL kills Whataburger in every way. Let me add that I love both places. I eat at one or the other every single day. At Whataburger, a #5 plain and dry (meat/bacon/cheese only) is my favorite burger except for something Iíd cook at home. I love the fries also. Im very much a fan of Whataburger, but they just donít come close to CFL in any category. Certainly not speed, service, or freshness/hot food.....and after that, whatís left?? Price?....my meal at CFL is $6.07 and itís $8.17 at Whataburger.

Reading through the posts makes me come to the conclusion that the differences are between those that have actually started a business, managed cash flow and met payrolls and those who have not.
How can you possibly call yourself an American and NOT be supportive of the Dobson family on this decision?

There will soon be rioting in the streets and drive by shootings just like in Chicago!!!
But seriously, when ever a buyout happens nowadays they try to implement the new penny pinching theory of prosperity by cut backs. I do see change coming but usually affects the employees first.

I worded that completely wrong.

That is upfront money that will cost them. This is an investment group that is going to grow Whataburger nationwide and then more than likely flip Whataburger for a far larger profit. As they are buying Whataburger when there is still massive amounts of growth left in that company.

Long term I do agree there will be a huge benefit from a larger customer base. But I do not think this investment group is going to be thinking longterm like the family owned Chick Fil A.

My point was they need to work on service and quality. It would pay off huge in the long road. For fast food chick-fil-a is good to great. Where chickfila separates themselves from all others is they have never given me the wrong order and they make the experience a pleasure and fast. Whataburger cant say that.
