Need a good bowhunting spot near Rockport

Anyone know of a good place to hunt near Rockport, TX? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Aransas Wild Life Refuge is your only bet down here. Unless you are willing to pay some good money. I took my son on hog hunt on the Fennesey Ranch in Bayside a couple of years ago. The cost was $225.00 and included lunch. If you are interested I know a guy who does day hunts in Calallen on 3000 acre ranch on the Nuecds River. He was charging $150/day for one hog and $50 dollars for each additional hog. This place is over run with them that's why I got off this lease. Thanks for the info. How pressured is it with it being the only public hunting area close by?

They sold maybe 225 permits last year, 36k acres. Opening weekend there was around 125 hunters, after that about 100 or less.
