The ones at the ready mix plants are made with leftover concrete making them less expensive, the concrete was paid for by the customer, the plant has to either recycle the aggregates or dispose of it somehow, so they just make blocks out of it, I have purchased several hundred of them for aggregate bins, I paid 55.00 each for the 2x2x6, then you have to haul them and off load them, I have the forms to make them but I can buy them cheaper than what I can make them for.
