How do you set up bow blind for crossbows?

I ductaped a coozie to the top of an old video camera tripod I had. Set it up in the blind at a height to where all my son needs to do is shoulder the crossbow as I hold it up for him, find the target and shoot. A little redneck, but works just fine!

I have a field pod like the one above but seldom use it anymore. I have a small shelf under the window and rest the stirrup on that with the bow stock resting in my lap. Simply raise the stock and leave the stir up on the shelf. The shelf is level with the window so the bolt clears without a problem.
