X2....probably one of the most expensive as well, but he is the best in the State!!

I remember that post. He's done over twenty WT for me and my two hunting buddies. All are amazing work and best I've seen

Frank McCarty in Lufkin is my favorite. He does really good work, very natural looking when he gets finished with them. He’s done 6 or 8 of mine (I’ve lost count lol)

My son has had 2 shoulder mounts done by Dan Lansford at Professional Taxidermist Studio in Cedar Park, TX. Beautiful job done on target, on time, and on budget. Here are photos of the 10-point my son killed last season.

                  Regards,

                  Dave

                          **** fine list

No offense but if I had to pick one and only one TBH member to do my work it would be ttaxidermy. Tim does some great work but isn’t always taking new stuff in. My best quality whitetail mount is one he did.

I've always used Brush Country taxidermy in George West. Tommy tans his own hides in house which significantly reduces the turn around. Last year's deer was done 6 months to the day after I dropped it off in December.

Now I just have to get down there and pick the latest addition up...
