There are plenty of excellent taxidermists in this state. Allen is the best I personally have ever used. If you stop by his place of business which is on the service road of Hwy 6 going through Bryan, you will see many examples of the quality of work he does.

X2....probably one of the most expensive as well, but he is the best in the State!!

Frank McCarty in Lufkin is my favorite. He does really good work, very natural looking when he gets finished with them. He’s done 6 or 8 of mine (I’ve lost count lol)

No offense but if I had to pick one and only one TBH member to do my work it would be ttaxidermy. Tim does some great work but isn’t always taking new stuff in. My best quality whitetail mount is one he did.

some of the best mounts ive ever seen come from Justin at Trophy Artistry Taxidermy. He puts so much detail that its crazy. he mounted my white-bearded wildebeest and the detail on the nose and whiskers with moisture was insane.

I've always used Brush Country taxidermy in George West. Tommy tans his own hides in house which significantly reduces the turn around. Last year's deer was done 6 months to the day after I dropped it off in December.

Now I just have to get down there and pick the latest addition up...
