Draw hunt question

They used to not let you apply for multiple hunts in one category. Like you couldn't apply for exotics at garner and Devils River. But it let me do that online last night. I assume it's acceptable now?

Another question if you don't mind me piggy backing.
If I have myself and my brother on my ticket and we get drawn...are we both allowed to take the harvest amount specified or do we split it?
Also, if there are 10 permits available does that mean 10 total hunters or 10 tickets drawn?

You're both allowed the bag limit stated in the book for that hunt.

Ten permits means ten drawn hunters.

Now, I have seen the standby hunters overdraw. Say they have three spots open to standby and draw a card of four, they'll allow all four to hunt if they have room.

Conversely, at Matagorda Island last year, they drew one card regardless of number of hunters on the standby card. There were two groups of four, a father son and a single applicant....they drew the single applicant even thought they had room to take all who were there for the standby.
