    Window bench for wife

Built this for the wife after she saw it on pintrest. First attempt at building anything like this. Don’t really have many woodworking tools other than a hand saw. They would have made this job easier and prettier but oh well. Took longer than I thought it would but I am the type a guy to think long and hard about something before I make a mistake and have to do double work and make extra expenses. Wife is going to stain it to match cabinets this weekend. Finished just in time to score points before duck season!

Good work! A couple of questions...

Is it attached to the wall?

What tool did you use to make the "screw pockets"?

Did you use a k3 for that? Looks good. Women find all kinds of stuff on pintrest to have built.

Correct, it was the kreg jig and it was my first time ever trying one. Happened to have seen a commercial for one just before I left to Home Depot and thought it would help with the project. Definitely makes for stronger joints.

It is not attached to the wall. Can be moved around.
