Ill stick it on the scale later this week once I get the scope mounted. Once I complete it Ill function test it and have it painted. Im thinking about having the Family Crest engraved in the side of the receiver first though.

I had my wife hold it in one arm, then hold my Larue AR10 in the other. She nearly died at the weight difference. Of course the Larue is HEAVY.

Looks like you have built quite the rifle! 7.62?

Are you at all concerned about the recoil for him?

Is the larue an OBR or PredatAR?

Dont know about the recoil yet. Thats one reason i put the Little B Brake on it and im planning to start him on light loads.

Original OBR. Heavy but the most accurate rifle i own.

Nice rig. Nothing light about your stock choice, but will help with recoil. Did yo get the adjustable gas black from SLR. I love mine. Sure he will love it no matter what.

Had a MOE stock on it. Ultimately felt like the improved check weld from the ACS was worth the additional weight for him.

Might look into a Kynshot hydraulic buffer for recoil reduction.

Is that young MFG BCG low mass? I hear good things about that brake. Shouldn't have too much recoil.

If you decide to build another, I'll make you a great deal on the same barrel! I bought one but decided to build something else, now I can't hardly give it away lol. Rifle looks great!
