    Cubed wild pork-recipe needed

Alright accidentally thawed out the wrong things the other day and now have about 3lbs of cubed up 1-1/2 x 1-1/2 hog meat.

    Any recipe ideas?

The crock pot is your friend when it comes to cooking cubed pork.

You can grind it or chop it very small and make some chilli or taco soup.

You could brown then braise or crockpot it then pull for BBQ or taco's with the appropriate seasoning.

That's what I use most of my wild pig for if not sausage. I also keep a few larger cuts to pound thin for schnitzel.

          Mmmmm, making me hungry.

Pulled pork I made this weekend quickly with the pressure cooker. Would be better smoked, but I am in need of a smoker to make that happen. It was quick and easy.... Most importantly, tasty.

Both above courtesy of this sow from my pre-Harvey hunt.

Made some jerky too. Not relevant to your post but I like pictures.

I would do a crock pot carnitas recipe. My wife does one every few weeks and its awesome. Cumin, garlic, pepper, some chilis in adobo, fresh squeezed oranges and a touch of vinegar witch a small chopped onion and maybe some Serrano or jalepenos if you like heat. We will put it on low in the crock pot for 8+ hours until it just falls apart.

So I decided to make carnitas.. unfortunately had to run to the store and get seasonings.. didn't get it on the stove and simmering till 7:45ish. Gonna be a late dinner, hopefully it will be worth it!
