    Age this Coryell Co Buck

We just got on a new place this year, and so far we've got several good prospects we'd like to get a little more age on them. The more brown-ish colored one is the oldest of the bunch. I'm thinking he might be 4 but I'm not sure. What do yall think? These are the best shots I have of him.

Shoot both the 6 points, let the 8 walk. The brownish colored buck is 5 or older.

Hmm. So we have an “old as dirt”, 5+, 8+, and 2.

Either way I think I’ll let them all go until next year. Probably ground check the brown buck and then bump this thread and we will see what the teeth look like.

That fat 7 point buck needs a dirt nap. The younger 6 looks to have some of the same antler genetics.

                        I think they are 3,3 & 5.

There is no way that buck in the middle is 2. I think he’s a mature deer at least 4 but leaning toward 6. I’d kill him the first chance I got

We hunt coryell... Deer on far right is younger than middle deer.

2, 4, 3 left to right... Here is what I see...

                              A. Middle deer has more brisket and belly
                              B. Middle deer has sway back
                              C. Since we have been on our place, the more red deer are the biggest and oldest of the bunch. They tend to keep summer coat longest too.

The last pic makes the middle deer look younger cause angle but i'll stick to my guesses... They all need more time
