    Camp Bullis 3-D is back on for 2011

    Just got a flyer from Camp Bullis Outdoor Recreation. The 3-D shoots are back on for 2011. Non-DoD ID holders will have to sign in but civilians are welcome.

    26-27 Feb Registration 0800-1000; 30 target shoots.

    23-24 Apr
    28-29 May
    25-26 Jun
    23-24 Jul
    27-28 Aug
    17-18 Sep

    Must be in from course by 1330 hours. (1:30 p.m.) Saturday and/or Sunday.

    Price: Competeive shoot; $15.00 (Ages 13 nd up)
    Fun Shoot (no score) $10.00
    Mulligan: $1.00
    Cub and Mini cubs; Shoot free with adult
    All classes including tradional; patterned after IBO scoring.

    Lets show them support. With the budget cuts that are proposed for the DoD MWR activities are usually the first to be curtailed. I'll be chasing pigs at Granger 25-27 Feb, but will be at teh Saturday shoots for the rest of the year. Look for the fat old guy with a longbow.

                Shoot either Sat or Sun; $15 for competition, $10 for fun. 30 Targets.North of Loop 1604 on FM 1535 at Shavanno park.

                          Me and a buddy went yesterday for the first time. It was a pretty nice course for sure. To us any terrain with rock and cedar trees is way better that mesquite and low brush. They do a good job setting it up. We will be back for sure.

                            Shot there today. Not bad. Couple of set ups stumped me on my judging. Pleasant experience over all.
