    Age Guesses? Lampasas buck

Haven't hunted in Lampasas in at least 10 years. Hoping some people that are more familiar with the quality of deer in this area can shed some light on the age of this guy.

4 in my opinion. Doesn't have a sway back yet and briskets/lower neck isn't filled out yet. He has a little gut on him though so I bet he's at least 4. This is a tough time of year to age deer, at least for me.

6+, imo, down hill, you notice all the features of an old buck in him.

I have him on the downhill side of 6 as well. Doesn't look like he's going to make much as far as antlers, but seems fairly heavy and will probably be a fun one to chase around this fall.
