Quick pictures from yesterday

I try to always have a camera at hand in my vehicle. Yesterday, I just had to stop and take these on my way to work, and again on my way to our archery league in the evening.

All were shot handheld from the seat of my car.

Photo opportunities are everywhere, when you learn to look for them.

All these were taken with my Canon 50D and 55-250 IS lens.

That last one is one reason I will always buy telephoto lenses with image stabilization from now on. Again, handheld, but the exposure was about 1/4 second. Not something I ever could have captured without a tripod in the past, and if I had to set up a tripod, I probably wouldn't have bothered stopping for this shot on my way to somewhere.

Is it the sharpest photo? Nope. But the IS made the difference between something I'd keep and share, and something I'd just delete.

Dew on spider webs at dawn = great photo op! Nice!

jerp, there were literally 100's of thousands of them. Trying to decide which ones to photograph was the hardest part! ha, ha.
