Setup for the hard southwest winds predicted, Lone doe appears at 50 yards from the east facing woodline just after sunrise. She's feeding about 15 feet away from the coverage. This old guy pop's out of the woods but reluctantly staying semi-obscured. I looked at him with my glass and decided that I was gonna take him. The rest is history as they say. When i walked up to him, i was pleasantly surprised by the mass and beam lengths. Not a really high scoring buck, but he makes up for it in mass.
