I've been bow hunting since 11, now 23 and this was my first bow buck and first mule deer. I had set up a feeder on the lease for hogs and I sat it two weeks before season trying to kill a hog and had a nice muley walk in. I decided that I would not hunt the feeder anymore until opening day of bow season. So opening morning I make my way to the pop up and wait. Not much action until this deer comes in. I watched him for an 30 minutes or so and decided I was going to take a shot. He was about 18 yards and made a perfect shot. The Rage did a number on him, he only went about 20 yards and fell over within eyesight. It was an awesome feeling to finally get a buck on the ground. Only bad thing was that I was the only one at the lease that weekend and had to drag and load him up myself. lol. I'm a little late with the report but just joined and had to get some posts under my belt first. That's my wife posing with him. Thanks again Chris if you read this.
(I painted his tongue out of the pic, some people say that makes for bad pics)
