Like the title says what have you passed that others may have shot? And why? I passed this deer. If his g4 on the right would be close to his left I probably would take him. He is plenty mature and a very nice buck for our area. He has been here all morning

Doe with a fawn and a decent 8 that will be awesome next year. Also several young bucks. Doe without a fawn wouldn’t give me a shot.

4 does and a fawn. Not shooting does this year. Big 7 point cull but he offered no shot and did not stay long. If he would have given me a shot I would have taken it.

Had a doe, big fawn and a basket 8 all work their way by this morning together

Considered shooting the doe but when she got closer I could see she was pretty drawn down from raising that fawn so I let her go on by

Have more legal bucks then I have in 15 years. Fed year around for the first time ever and not a single photo of a buck over 4 years old. Im still hopeful as Im missing about 4 good mature deer that got a pass last year and didn't show up until mid October. I told myself Im not going to scent it up until I get a pic of something I like but i'm picky. First opening morning I havent been in a stand since I started doing it.

I couldn't agree more. I think deer season should start in late October and end later. That being said, this morning was one of the best hunts I've had in awhile but we are slipping in to a severe drought and our deer are pretty hungry.

Passed on a bunch of does and couple 8pt barely legal bucks. I quit using cameras a few years ago and with the doe days I wanted to see what comes in. Had a couple mature deer, as good or better than anything Iíve seen on our place. Got busted by doe picking up bow and they all spooked. All came back but the mature bucks.

Had to pass a decent little public land buck at about 20 yards that *probably* didnt meet AR. I swear he was stretching his ears...

If not for AR he would have eaten carbon..

For most of the state yes. Would suck for a few coastal counties with September ruts

Passed on a doe I think was on Noah’s ark. Coulda shot her 100 times. Just didn’t feel like messing with a doe in this heat. If it was 20 degrees cooler she’d ate a broadhead

Had 5 bucks in front of me Saturday afternoon with 3 of them being 5.5 or older. I shot the oldest one (an 8pt, 6.5+) but the other two bucks would have been my biggest buck by far.. One buck county, hopefully next year!

I passed on a six point, and an 8 point. Just too young. I have never seen so many doe with fawns this year on our lease south of Mason. Some with twins. Had numerous opportunities to take several doe but it is just too hot. One jumps the string or you get off a bad shot and the meat will ruin within hours. I shoot does for the meat. Will just wait for cooler weather to fill the freezer.
