Mount them on Tpost. Does not happen then. On a tree they get peckered.

          Your birds are smarter.
That's why I don't make any efficacy claims.

Used to happen to us all the time with the old 35mm Moultries, been many years since it's happened until a few weeks ago I had a new Browning 850 get pecked on a T-post.

Haha I would like to see video of that.

If you would just shoot all the sh*t eating woodpeckers, they quit chewing on your cameras.

They will still do it on t posts. Been fighting them and cardinals for years. But hey if anyone has any nice damaged cameras I’ll buy em

I took a pellet gun hunting with me last season to shoot woodpeckers. I got a couple, but they are everywhere.

I'm gonna get a few bigger mouse traps too and put these on all the trees around my feed pens.

And yes. I had one ruin a camera I had on a t post too.

I didn't ask for this fight.

It came pecking at my door.

                        After 6 damaged cameras

of course you realize, this is war!!!!!

So this last weekend I had my first woodpecker casualty. Lost some strike forces. I am not happy. It’s karma. When I scrolled thru this thread I laughed and thought “thank god I don’t have that problem”. Well, now I do. And my cameras are all mounted on T Posts.
