Kansas success

Spent a week in the trees of southeast Kansas and it is a beautiful place to hunt. Saw more deer than I have ever seen in my life mostly 3 year olds or less. I was finally able to get this old warrior at 20 yards broadside. Bases are 7.5 inches total score was only 135 I was ecstatic over being able to take this old 7 point

Rutting action was good. Saw several larger deer just couldn't get em close.

Hickory Creek outfitter Self guided pretty much. Pretty long walks in but well marked. Lodge is comfortable and the food was great.
