European mount Elk Antlers- need help

What is the best way to hang elk antlers on a wall? There is no stud. I would like a good, dependable, sturdy way to hang without making a huge hole in the wall. Thanks

I secured an old barn shutter that I reinforced to the wall and then secured the mount to the shutter.

Great idea and I like it but I would like to hang it directly to the wall.

No stud? That's gonna be a problem.

hd sells sheetrock anchors that are rated to like 45#
Id double them up and use a piece of wire looped.

These all depend on how big the antlers are on an elk. Yes they have big hangers for big elk, but if they are not in a stud, they will pull out of the wall. I have a 6x7 345" bull that was in a European mount and it did just that.

That looks great! Takes up much less space than a full shoulder mount.

Used one for mine. Zero issues.

Still will not work if they are large antlers and not anchored in a stud. Look at my post above. I had one and it did not work with jest sheet rock anchors and not screwed into a stud.
Not sure toggle bolts will work but would be better than sheet rock anchors. I used the biggest anchors I could find.

                              Toggle bolt or molly bolt.
