Vortex or Leupold?

My self and a buddy jumped on the Vortex train for awhile. But we have both decided that Leupold is the better of the 2. Vortex is still good quality, however.

Vortex. They have a lifetime no questions asked warranty. It could burn up in a house fire and they will replace it

Leupold does the same thing with theirs

They replaced some Binos a few years ago when a guys truck caught fire

I think I've owned just about every Vortex scope in the $200-1100 and some of those twice. I currently have either Leupold or Zeiss on all my rifles and do not own a Vortex.

I have only owned one Vortex and it was a Diamondback so it was on the lower end. It seemed to be on par with the optics on my Leupold rifleman, but I liked the finish and feel of the Leupold better.

I have never used any of the higher end Vortex.
