    Fair Price

While researching local bowyers here in OKC, I ran across a gentleman looking to get out of the business. He has for sale a home made set of forms for a long bow, static tip recurve, and working tip recurve. The forms are nicely made and use an inflatable fire hose for pressure. We had a nice visit on Saturday and I will be going back in a couple of weeks to shoot a couple of the bows that he made with these forms. He hasn't used the forms in about 15 years - moving on from traditional archery to custom guns and gun smithing. This is definitely something that I'm interested in as I am a huge fan of DIY.

All that being, what do y'all think is a fair price for the forms? I could make them myself, but this cuts out a lot of time. He asked me to make him an offer.

    Thanks
    Skooter

Look at Bingham supply and get an idea of the hardware cost. I'd say he's got at least 150$ invested in each set of forms but I haven't priced the stuff in a long time

That looks like what he has. Thanks for the lead.
