Only thing I enjoy about duck hunting is drinking screwdrivers so I have an excuse for missing

Yes. Only exception is bow hunting, I am afraid of heights and do not need any other distractions.

Rifle hunting in a box blind without a few cold ones sounds awful.

We all stow our rifles in our vehicles, utv, jeep, truck, etc. before returning to camp, but it is not a rule. If you act silly with a weapon you are gone, period.

We usually start drinking around lunch and will bring a few to the stand. Everyone is responsible and I’ve never seen someone questionable before they were heading to the blind or even coming back from the blind....not sure we’d give someone the boot over it on the first occurrence, but we’d definitely have a talk with em.
