    My New Coon Guards are In!!!!!

    Mr. Smart's coon feeder leg protectors thread got me to thinking...and I think I have come up with a revolutionary idea here!

      Curious to see how this works. I too feel like that will only give them traction. But I sure hope it does just the opposite!

                  That will be a better ladder than "shark's teeth or carpet tack strips! They'll be able to race up the legs now...

                    The best thing we have found is a length of large diameter pvc pipe suspended on the leg with a piece of twine. The PVC has to be long enough they can't reach from bottom to top so the coons can't reach past it. They grab hold and it spins like mad.

                        Are those slinky's? I can see how that might work - when they grab hold it just keeps stretching down the leg. Make sure you post pics of when they try to climb

                          I hope your Revolutionary Idea works.

                          Many on here have been looking for a solution to the Coon Problem.

                          I have been using the Dukes traps for eliminating the Coons.
