    West TX baseball

Still waiting on the new camera. Still using the old point and shoot for now. I went to my nephews game this evening. He has to be the smallest one on the team(taking after his dad and uncle).

As a whole they have a really good team. They won 11-5 and are undeafted. Here are a few pics. Tuff to get a decent pic when its overcast.

For a 12yr old, this boy can hum a baseball.

Nice framing. Can't wait to see what you can do with your new camera. Nothing like a pump jack in a baseball pic to let you know you're in West Texas. Love it.

If the thread is about kids and baseball, I have to post one up of my boy.

Shane, I actually edited those pics "in camera". Had it 4yrs and just figured that out today.

Scotty, looks like he is about to bring some serious heat!!!!

Not to brag on him(well ok, I am), but we were at a Longhorns National Champs Camp at the Dell Diamond last year. They had a gun set up and I think he threw 72. The fellow running it said it was equal to a 95 MLB pitch. Sucker has movement too!

Love the picture of the pump jack in the background. Something West Texas kids just grow up with.

Has to West Texas baseball, there's a pump jack in the background!

Jason what's the hold up with the new camera? Seems you've been waiting awhile.

Shipping issue with B&H. I ordered it on 4/17 and there was a serious mix up on shipping. Just got off the phone with them. They have my camera. It made it to Lubbock and went back. Suppose to overnight it to me. First dealings with B&H haven't been good so far.

That is very unusual with them. I usually have stuff from them a day or two before they say I will.

I borrowed a camera for my oldest sons season finale last night. It was his first spring in Minors (kid pitch). Since the teams playoff seed was set, the coach let him pitch an inning..or at least try to

Then of course you have to cover the plate when the runner steals home on a passed ball

Where did he get his athletic talent from?
