My boss gave me a project and in a couple years it is now finished. The reason it took a couple years is during hunting seasons, he would think of something new and have me change it.
When he bought it, it was a plain red 1988 Jeep. Since then it has had a 4 inch lift and tires, body fully bed lined and some welding done to it.
First off, he wanted to be able to shoot from the driver’s seat so we took the windshield off. Then he decided he wanted a roof but wanted it more forward over the front so we built a roof.
Then he wanted to take the luggage (hitch type) rack off the back because it rattled while he was driving around so I built one that was bolted straight to the frame. I made it bigger than I expected and had to ad support because it sagged.
Then he had me build a high seat for the back. While driving around the lease I noticed my feet would swing around so I added a foot rest. And also noticed that it was hard to climb into the back seat
So this year he brought it back to town to have some engine work done on it and my next project was to build a matching front rack, side steps and new dashboard. Well, here is the finished project.
