Howdy fellas,
I'm new to AggieLand as this is my first fall semester with no clue to whats accessible to public hunting down here.. I'm not asking for your spot in-particular, but just for a tid bit of information that could possibly help me get the ball rolling..

This! And make sure you are staying within the boundaries. I hunted the public land a lot when I was going to college there. We had a few great hunts, and a lot of very slloowwwww hunts. Good luck!

I hunted public fields my freshman year at UTSA. Sometimes I was the only one out there, other times there would be 3 or 4 guys trying to get right up next to you. I never was skunked though.
