DIY Coil Leash Made From Weedeater Cord

Not my idea. This was posted on texaskayakfisherman.com and thought I would pass it on. It was made for a rod or paddle leash, but I thought of several places I could use it hunting. One being my thumb release!

Couldn't you use and old school phone cord (headset portion)? rubber coated and wires inside. You can still get them @ the dollar stores I think.

You can, and goodwill/garage sale coiled phone chargers work great as well. I think the ones posted would likely come out cheaper and they work great. Easy to make. My wife helped me make them- she took more time and carefully rolled the line, keeping it in the same direction. Made for a tighter coil and better looking leash.
