There is a feeder about 60 yards away that is about to throw in 10 minutes... already wondering what deer will show up there... I can't see it because I picked the tightest shooting lane I could.

A doe and her twins just walked by headed towards the feeder. Unfortunately, as much as I like that feeder.... the blind is too short and we never got out her to raise the roof over the summer.

Back in the cabin listening to rain drops on the metal roof. Called it at too dark to see. Glad I saw deer and hogs... but I get the feeling that more snags are around the corner. Waiting on my fellow leasemate to arrive... and will start the usual struggle to sleep during opening eve.
