        I cut a slot lengthwise in 1” pipe with a circular saw for my cap rail and welded it in place. Lots of long welds on the chine edge and the cap rail. Plenty of time under the hood during this project.

                  Specs:

                  Length 13’6”

                  Width 6’

                  Sides 9”

                  Tunnel 5’ long by 10” wide and 5” depth

                  Tower is 6’ to the top rail

                  Planed on running a 50hp but ended up with a 70hp on it.

                        I have a Lincoln Square Wave Tig 200. It’s an inverter machine. Wished I would have had a nice mig setup though for the long runs.

                            Can't wait to see the progress.....

                            Rebuilt one very similar a few years ago but removed the tower and went with a grab bar with tiller drive. Extremely fun little sled just didn't have the time to two boats and sold it.
