From a quick search it looks like the most common recommendation is a Manfrotto/Bogen tripod. Mainly the 190XPROB Tripod with 804RC2 3-Way Head or 055XPROB Pro Tripod with 808RC4 3-Way Pan/Tilt Head. I think i'm leaning toward the 055XPROB since it supports more weight and the min and max height cover a wider range. What about the heads though? What makes the RC2 better than the RC3? Or is there another brand head that would be better to purchase seperately? I've noticed that a few have mentioned that they got tired of the multiple adjustments and went to a ball-head. Are these worth the extra money? Just wondering of some of yall could lead me in the right direction.
