What are some recomendations for ultra lite line 6 lbs to fish with spinning tackle that doesnt twist up. Will be throughing rapalas. I don't fly fish!.

it doesn't matter what kind you use. Run it out behind the boat to untwist 70-100yds or so with nothing on the line and reel it back in before you fish or if your in a river run it out downstream and do the same. If there's no current or boat I can't help you!

Small ball bearing swivel will help. Have fun!

Avoid the ultra thin lines, it catches in the willows like spider web and is a pain.
I use a ball bearing swivel on my trout rig and no problems spooking fish. Walleye are another issue, no swivel there.
Panther martins work great .
Where are you headed, near Laramie by chance?

We always pack a spinning rod in the drift boat for those finicky big brown trout that won't eat a fly. We use braided line and a swivel with rapalas and the fish don't mind one bit even in very clear water.
