    2015 Coon Count

Anybody else working on the feeder thieves?

I'll start the count with 22 in the last 4 weeks.

    Pic from last nights run.

Please elaborate on your method of elimination/relocation. Did you kill 22 in one general spot?

Spotlight and .22 LR and solar lights on protein feeders. All from one ranch. Most are from one general area that I feed heavily and easy to drive up on.

I was thinking of doing this around feeders at my place does it seem to disturb the deer or do they continue to come in to eat regularly?

Deer are usually back using the feeders the same night.

I got five coons at the moment ravaging my feeder. Plan on bagging at least one today.

Just started with the dukes. Up to 5 this year (only run traps a couple of times) plus a couple of paws

I have about 10 hitting the same feeder like clockwork. When I get back form work I will be sitting in my bow blind with shotgun in hand. Be posting up pic of a wad of those bastages in a week or so.

You guys getting coon "parts" using Duke's? I've never had that happen. Never had a thrown trap that didn't have a coon in it, and I've never caught anything but a coon. I have what used to be 2 dozen traps... lost one to a coon due to a broken wire... didn't have it secured properly...
