    Will this Ammo be Ok for Nilgai?

    This is the biggest gr I could find in short time.

    Will it be Enough to take a Nilgai?

          They are tough. I just got back and took a .300wsm with 200 grain ammo. I lost two bulls that were absolutely hammered. One rolled. But I wasnt able to get a 2nd shot in either of them. Finally got the 3rd one and shot him twice.

            That outta work just fine. Put it in the right place and you will be taking LDP’s.

              The primary factor in killing one isn't your bullet weight.

              Do your part and you'll be fine. Make a terrible shot with a .50 cal and you'll still lose it.

                What ammo were you using if you don’t mind me asking? Sounds like bullet failure to me.

                        Nosler trophy grade. One was a front on shot, standing still. Both times the other hunters were congratulating me on a great shot and great bull.

                              I have taken several with my .280 shooting 140 gr. Nosler Ballistic Tip. My son has several he took with his .308 150 gr. Core-Lokt. Shot placement is very important!
