Well didn't have any ducks work us.. had people in our A, B, C spots. Had a good time none the less! We put in at long pond for those asking. The people I'm here with have a place a couple hundred yards away.

Not on Saturday, Sunday we ended up killing 4. Got my first green head so it was a success! Had a heck of a good time, we are already planning return trips!

Congrats. Last time I went to meto I had to bring my own tree to hide beside. All others were taken.

Some people refer to Bayou Meto as the "Metro-mess" for a reason. To say it gets crowded sometimes is an understatement. I've hunted in there a total of probably about 10 days, but last time was over 10 years ago, not sure what it's like now. I've had some of my most boring duck hunts in there and a few of my most incredible as well. If the mallards are working the woods it will put a smile on your face. Best hunt ever in there we had 10 guys take a limit of 40 mallards (mostly greenheads) in an hour and a half after legal shooting light. Saw several thousand mallards that morning, easily.
