Basket / gun rack for Ranger

Set out to make a basket and rifle rack for the Ranger. It is a single bench seat and wanted the basket for a little storage and rack to keep rifles out of seat and floor board.

Yes. While working on it I wrapped the bars with Painter’s tape but they still got scuffed. It is getting rhino lined now and would think that would help.

For anyone interested, I have a case of exhaust clamps the perfect size for roll bar tubing. Pretty much the same as the U bolts you used for mounting. I made a similar setup for my Teryx last year. Ordered 2 clamps online - they shipped me an entire case. I'll gift some to anyone wanting to do something like this ...

When I did something similar I found some thick plastic tubing to slide over the u-bolts that worked well.

put some heat shrink around the u-bolts if you're worried about scuffing, problem solved
