                      I only say the last one because when I was a Ft Benning going through IOBC in 1979 our instructors would say "and this is where _____ scene from the Green Beret was filmed". Made it a little more personal. It's funny when you realize that the first scene at "Ft. Bragg" and the compound in Vietnam were less than 100 yards away from each other at Ft. Benning. And the Mekong was actually the Chattahouchie.

                      A few years later I was a Ft Bragg and the JFK Special Warfare Museum and they had the beret that John Wayne wore and a letter from him.
