Well, well...it looks like the winner of the Texas brackett will be playing a superpower form the almighty be-all end-all SEC.

Make no mistake, the Horns have plenty of work to do if they are to reach the Championship Series. Should they make it this is an enteresting tidbit of history:

The Texas Longhorns baseball team has won titles in 1975, 1983, 2002 and 2005 during my lifetime. Each time they defeated a team from the SEC for the title.

God it is to early to start this but what the hell.

Lets see the sec is so overated that a 9-4 Ole miss team beat Texas tech last year in football with their best football team ever.

So overated that Florida beat Oklahoma n football

So overated that Ole MIss spanked Oklahoma in baseball

Lsu beat baylor in baseball

LSU swept a Rice team that I believe took 3 of 4 from Texas this year in baseball.

Thats just off the top of my head, this ought to get ugly fast

I will say this if LSU and UT meet in the CWS finals I think it will be a teriffic series. I think all games will be close and it will go 3 games. I hope this happens and we are all on the edge of our seats the entire series.
