    Disc Cooker

So today, after church I decided to stop putting off my Disc Cooker Project. I cleaned it out as much as I could with my a Dremel and a cheap Harbor Freight Grinder. Then I cured it.

Yeah I had a hard time finding the Disc. But I found it at a Salvage Yard and the handles are from Tractor Supply.

Looks great and I love cooking on those things. Anyone have a spare disc laying around somewhere?

Salvage yard, that's a great idea. Why didn't I think of that.

I scored the two discs I obtained for free from a john deere dealer. They change out discs from time to time on their equipment and I picked up two for free!!!! I have built two discs and the most expensive part was seasoning them with gas and lard. I am a happy camper. My Mexican friend in my hunting club keeps trying to talk me out of one of them but I will probably give it to my nephew or younger brother. Just a thought if you look you may find them for free.

I want one, don't have the stuff to make one. Does anyone make them to sell?

Can you give details on how to fill in holes and season for cooking.
