    What Angle?

Can someone tell me what angle is commonly used for the posts on elevated blinds? I know some guys just use straight up and down but I'd feel better with the posts spread a bit wider than the blind floor.

    Thanks,

I've typically used 17-18 on blinds and 23 for feeders. IMO it depends on the height and how it's going to be anchored.

Pretty sure elevators are 8 degrees

It's an octagon blind and will be 8 foot off the ground. I'll either anchor it to a tree or use guy wires or use cable and a big turnbuckle centered underneath and tightened. Would it be better to attach the legs straight up and down?

            Thanks,

I used 16 on my groundblind platforms and it works just fine.
