Laguna Atascosa Archery Deer

So far, no deer or nilgai but there are a ton of other hunters. On my way out last evening, I saw 4 other guys that set up in different spots within a few hundred yards directly upwind of me. No wonder I didn't see Jack Squat yesterday.

Got a new spot and new strategy today.

We saw a doe with her two young and two pigs early this morning. Haven't had anything in range or seen anything else since early.

Here he is. It was a heart shot. The first pic isn't a legal one yet. We tagged him right after. Just to prove it, here he is in the cart.

Got him with a Hoyt Defiance 30" at 64lbs with a carbon express maxima red 350 with a G5 Montec CS 100 grain.
