Default 2018 u.s. Open

Shinnecock Hills
June 14-17

Entry deadline is Midnight, Wednesday June 13

The Committee decided to go ahead and start his even though a few are dragging their heels from The Players. Check your stash of Ol' Abes and see if one of them is you. Send me a PM if you need to.

We are two tournaments into the six tournament year. Current standings will be posted later.

Go ahead and post your teams. Rack Ranch is requesting a special ruling to let Tiger fill all six spots on his team

Obviously this was a fake video. The guy with a tree growing out of his head finished the video in 44 sec. and took two swings in 10 sec. No way that is Kevin Na! If I remember correctly, the Green Committee softened the the course a little by giving a trim to keep the tops even.

The Committee offered to set the course up but the bow ties declined

The only thing slower than this thread is the sign up for the TBH Open. Get your team signed up that one and then pick your players here.
The Committee is considering a door prize or two for the TBH Open!

In the meantime...

Hope the USGA does a better job setting it up than they did in 2004. What a disaster that was.

Let's see, they lengthen the course to over 7400 yards and made par 70, that should help keep "U.S. Open Scores"... SMH

Now I'm hearing the fairways are "Erin Hills" wide. What good does it good for the USGA to lengthen the course but widen the fairways??? I'm not a complainer, so I'll stop...

Is anyone going to put Jordon Spieth on their list? I think he should try a practice round with Dechambeua's putter and see if that helps.

This may be the final list unless someone slips in in Memphis or there are withdrawals from the field.

Tiger, Dustin Johnson and Justin Thomas are paired together.

Rory, Spieth and Phil are paired together as well.

Give The Committee a little fertilizer and water and we could narrow those fairways and have a healthy, penal rough in 4.5 days. Right ABCDJ?

They might be considered smart.....or at least there not wanting to donate $5 which is what will likely happen with him on your team

The question is, " How many hours too long did you spend in the sun moving cattle and are you out of the ER yet? ". I will have to go back and check my posts to see when I posted the the photo of "binder clip" as the most unwanted man on my golf team. I cannot remember if it was before last year's U.S. Open or after he had let me down yet again. Hope he has a good flight back to the West coast Friday afternoon.

MULE... But really, we are so dry all you need to do is honk the horn and the neighbors cows are jumping the fence... This weekend we moved our top AI'ed cows back to my place in RP.
Ian is a great choice for my competition to put on board.

Someone had a good looking mule in the classifieds a few years back.

Just wait until you see who I am going to pair him with.
