Deer camp fire pits

Can y’all post pictures of the fire pit areas at your camps? I’m trying to get some ideas together. I’m planning on getting rid of all the metal fire pits and go back to natural stone from the place. Maybe stone pad about 12’x12’ with a rock fire pit in the middle. Then on one edge built raised stone grill pit.

I have wanted to do the same, but love the option of moving the fire around for wind, rain and such. Might ought to keep one ring! Love your set up Brother!!

Here is our deer camp fire pit, guess you are looking for something more fancy though . Only pic I have is when we had an unwelcome visitor!

Leaning toward a stone pad with round rocks for the campfire ring. Then a raised grill kinda like this.



Trying to get rid of all the rusty pits and just have rock and bricks.

Dig a hole bud!! Here is ours. Not as fancy as what you’re looking for but we’ve spent many cold nights huddled around it with no problems.
